The diva has a longstanding relationship with the queer community. From Judy Garland to Beyoncé and beyond, queer people have used divas as an outlet for queer expression. I’m sure even the homosexual pharaohs were gagging over Cleopatra. In this issue, we explore the queer relationship to the diva and all of her many different iterations and connotations.
